The Dubai Story

The competition for tourist dollars continues to escalate. Tourists demand good weather, great service, friendly environment, great restaurants, shopping choices, convenient transportation and an assortment of historic sites, museums, authentic cultural activities and the best prices possible; and they have the world's best destinations to choose from.

Developed countries offer very competitive packages. Developing countries have typically lacked behind but are quickly catching up. Dubai offers one great example.

Although hot during the summer months, its winters are mild and pleasant. The attractions are now numerous but it originally started with one idea. Great shopping, free trade zones and it worked. Dubai is now host to many global events and is attracting tourists almost year round.

Other countries, especially in the Middle East, have taken notice. Dubai has illustrated that once you provide a free trade environment businesses will come, so would the tourist and everyone benefits.
